Problem For The Day! - 08 - Oct - 2014

Over a sample space $S$, let three events be defined as $A$, $B$ and $C$, not necessarily disjoint. The event defined by $A\cup \left(A^c \cap B\right)\cup \left(A^c \cap B^c \cap C\right)$ is same as

(A) $A\cup B \cup C \quad$ (B) $A\cap \left( B\cap C\right) \quad$ (C) $A\cup \left(B\cap C \right) \quad$ (D) $A\cap \left(B\cup C \right)$
